"MORDECHAI'S TRIUMPH" (above) by Yona Verwer, as part of an exhibition at the UJA-Federation of New York is the NEWS OF WEEK. Her work and curatorial talents are currently enjoying an explosion of interest with multiple shows going on right now across the country. On Monday, Yona tweeted, "Sweet! My 3rd art opening in 6 days, 'The Dura Europos Project II: An Ancient Site Interpreted Thru 21st Century Eyes" (which includes "Mordechai’s Triumph"). Lastly, Yona is the INSPIRE ME! Artist for April 2012.
