Ohio Museum Hosts Major Caravaggio Exhibit Through February

OHIO - This January, the Columbus Museum of Art offers the rare opportunity to view the work of Italian Baroque master Caravaggio. "Ecce Homo (Behold the Man)", painted by Caravaggio around 1605, and lent by the Musei di Strada Nuova – Palazzo Bianco, Genoa. This powerful painting is the centerpiece of this exclusive exhibition, "Caravaggio: Behold the Man! The Impact of a Revolutionary Realist" organized by the Columbus Museum of Art, and on view through February 5, 2012, this is the only US venue for the loaned masterpiece.
