The exhibition of rare artwork is based on the message of peace and harmony through Islamic teachings and letters that are created with different mediums, like leather, wood, semi-precious stones, bamboo, gold, bronze and copper. Islamic calligraphy has strong components of communicative vehicles in the shape of its words in all the known languages of the world, which is governed by strict rules, he said, adding, “It employs numerous traditional arts to embellish the work as well as capture the spirit of the written words.” The show continues at until March 20.
